employmentPeriod - The date range during which the employee was part of the scheme.

User message

Employment start date is invalid. Cannot be equal to or later than the PRP end date

Description

Employment start date must be provided for every record on every submission. This will automatically determine if the record is a new starter within the scheme.

B&CE will pick up any new starter based on the employment start date provided.

B&CE will match an existing record to the supplied record based on the following information:

• Date of birth
• Surname
• Unique ID

If one of the above pieces of information changes, B&CE will match this to the existing record.

If more than one of the above pieces of information changes, B&CE will not match this to an existing record and will assume it is a new starter determine if the record is a new starter within the scheme.
